Our Proteomics and Metabolomics Platform offers a suite of synergistic capabilities for the characterisation of proteins and metabolites of interest to academic and industry researchers in the agricultural, health, life, molecular, pharmaceutical, population, and psychological sciences.
The specific capabilities offered by this unique platform are enabled by a multidisciplinary team of experienced researchers and professional staff with outstanding research track records.
The workflow of capabilities and expertise enables the identification and quantitation of biomolecules from complex mixtures through to metabolomics and small molecule structure determination. Core expertise in advanced experimental design, informatics, and data analysis underpins the main capabilities of the platform.

Peak Perspectives is the newsletter from the La Trobe Proteomics and Metabolomics Platform. The name ‘Peak Perspectives’ is a playful take on one common thread over all our capabilities; generating and visualising molecules as peaks that are measured and interpreted by our technical specialists and our clients. It highlights an important theme of the Platform - using modern analytical instrumentation, we can analyse molecules with confidence in accuracy, precision and sensitivity.
